During class one evening, Elaine, our engaged dance instructor, led us in a prophetic painting exercise, using only three colours, our fingers and blindfolded. The subject: How God sees us.
Without our primary sense guiding us, many of us slowly found an inner leading to effect the strokes, as we prayed for us to hear from the Lord Himself with regards to this subject.
When all was unveiled, and we shared what we saw about the artist behind each piece based on the drawings, we were astounded about the clarity with which character and direction were revealed. We were astounded by our own pieces, to be sure. Or perhaps a better word would be: affirmed. Affirmed that He has only thoughts of peace toward us, thoughts to give us a future filled with hope, and that we could hear this for ourselves.
He know the plans He has for me. He knows me. One day, the veil shall be completely removed and I shall see my Lord fully, as I am now seen by Him. Hallelujah!
For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. -1 Cor 13:12
